Smoked Gammon with Blacksticks Blue Cheese
Simple smoked gammon with a decadent cheesy twist.
Grilled for succulence and topped with delicious Blacksticks Blue Cheese, this is truly a step up in taste for the trusty home favourite.
Serves 1.
Ingredients:
225g Large Smoked Gammon Steak
30g Crumbled Blacksticks Blue Cheese
125g Baby New Potatoes
50g Garden Peas
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
Fresh Herbs - Rosemary and Thyme
METHOD:
Pre-heat a grill to a medium heat, whilst pre-heating the oven.
Firstly parboil the new potatoes, then drain, place in a roasting tin, drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper and fresh herbs and roast until golden in colour (25 mins).
Place the gammon steak under the grill and cook, turning every 3-4 minutes until golden in colour. For the last few minutes remove from the grill, top with crumbled cheese and place back under for 1-2 minutes until the cheese has melted and is bubbling and golden.
Place the peas in the microwave in accordance with the cooking instructions, drain and season to taste. Serve & enjoy!
